Hand-Knit Green Hat to Match...

Last winter, I knit a wonderful green cowl and decided to keep it for myself. Today, I knit a wonderful green hat with toggle buttons to match. I love that now I have a set to wear with my long black bubble jacket. Next up black mittens, it's great to make things for yourself too.... ;)

Easter Hat for my Niece

My sister asked me to make a hat for my niece for Easter - so I made her a small version of the Beach/Garden Summer hats I have been working on. I added a cute purple rosette to match her lilac dress and tada... they both love it! :)

Crochet Beach/Garden Summer Hat

I've been wanting to crochet a beach hat for a while now - I found this pattern and used worsted weight yarn. After I made this one I played with my own version as well as 100% cotton yarn and will be selling those in my Etsy store for summer! Be on the look out cause they are very cute and handy while chillen by the water or in the garden! :)

A Green Cowl...

this one I have decided is for me - I may be able to wear it a few times for the rest of the season, being that I live in Maine. I love it! I made it with 100% deep olive green Peruvian Highland Wool and 100% kelly green Acrylic yarn. I added a beautiful large wooden button for added detail. I will be making more of these cowls for next winter come fall time - I will be blending wool and acrylic yarns together with my special pattern. These are not super photos due to the fact I took them with my photo booth - so the justice is not there but you can get the idea.... ;)

Repurposed Skinny Scarf & Christmas Photo Card

New Etsy Listings...

I knitted this long skinny scarf a bit ago and stored it away when it didn't sell last year, well I decided to repurpose it into a Neck Warmer and add Antique White Pearl Buttons. I shaped it and then hand sewn it.

Find it here.

It's a Bubbly Holiday Photo Card - here.

Hand Knit Chunky Brown, Cream Speckle Neck Warmer with...

Handmade Yarn Buttons! :) I enjoyed making these buttons - it did take me a trial and error, but I got the hang of it after two to make these. I think they add such great character to the chunky knit neck warmer.

Refashioned Pink Sweater - New Etsy Listing

After seeing this cute soft pink acrylic sweater, I thought it would be great as a hat, neck warmer and fingerless gloves set! I added large 1 1/2 inch purple/pink fabric homemade buttons to both sides of the hat and used a contrasting purple/pink thread for sewing. The hat is 22" in circumference and fits a bit loose, not snug. The neck warmer is 18" long and 4" wide and has a pearl button snap closure. The fingerless gloves are 9" long and 5" wide at top that set from the bottom of the pinky to the middle of thumb. There is a 1/4 inch difference between the sewn edge of the gloves with the contrasting thread showing but does not effect the lengths. I think this 'one-of-a-kind' would make a cute fashionable set to someone who not only loves pink & purple but appreciates unique homemade items! :)

Hand Wash with luke warm water and detergent. Lay flat to dry.

Not quite the before photo, but you get the idea...

Etsy Listing here!
UPDATE: This was SOLD in my Etsy Shop Jan 2011! :)

Funky Red Blend Knit Hat - New Etsy Listing

As anyone had the 'New' Wild Berry Smoothie from McD's yet? Yes, I said McDonald's... still, it's very YUMMY! This is what the new knit hat I posted today kinda reminds me of - it's a great blend of colors, btw I wasn't talking about the taste! :D

A funky knit with a wave edge and an attached knit flower with a pink button center. Someone will look cute in it! :)
